World’s first 24K gold-coated hotel opens in Vietnam
Today travellers can add another destination to their list of places to visit – Dolce Hanoi Golden Lake. It is a 5-star hotel in Hanoi, Vietnam – the world’s 24K gold-coated hotel and the first golden-coated hotel in the country.
The 25-story building is located in the centre of Hanoi. What makes the project unique is the abundance of 24K gold used in the exterior and interior decorations. The facade area makes 5,000 square metres and is decorated with gilded ceramics. The exterior design does not lack golden-plated elements either: furniture, wall ornaments, chandeliers, bathtubs in rooms’ bathrooms, cutlery and plates in the restaurants and bars and many more.
The roof of the unique luxury hotel is equipped with an infinity swimming pool which is also decorated with gold.
The price for accomodation in the golden hotel starts from $250 USD per night.
The developer of the project is Hoa Binh Group. According to the director of the company, Nguyen Huu Duong, “the Hanoi Golden Lake will become a place not to be missed.”
Despite the newly opened Vietnamese hotel, the golden elements were used in other hotels all over the world as well. Dubai’s hotel Burj Al-Arab has a 22K gold-plated elevator and lobby. In Las Vegas, Trump International Hotel is decorated with golden windows. Abu Dhabi’s Emirates Palace welcomes guests with golden-plated walls and ceiling in its lobby.
