The Jungle Book (2016): Neel Sethi – little star of big movie
The Jungle Book seems to be the most awaited release by Disney picture in April 2016. The studio continues the tradition of turning legendary books into the real-life films. This time the audience will be treated with the famous and timeless story of Mowgli, a famous character created by prominent Rudyard Kipling. We will again meet the human cub who has been brought up by a wolf pack in the wild jungles.

The film team searched for Disney’s Mowgli in News Zealand, the United Kingdom, Canada and the USA. Thousands of children, willing to become the face of the legendary ‘Jungle Book’, came for auditions in 2014. However, 10-year-old Neel Sethi turned to be the best Mowgli. He immediately stroke the competent casting team members with his charisma and talent.
Neel Setthi has never before played in any film. Disney’s The Jungle Book will be the tremendous premiere for the little uprising cinema star. The boy will have not only to embody Mowgli in the movie set but also to learn how to live under the continuous eye of cameras as he will certainly become the centre of media attention.
By the by, little Neel Sethi will be the only real character in the frame. All Mowgli’s friends, enemies and other creatures are animated. The film makers rely a lot on new technologies and promise to plunge the audience into a breathtaking adventurous wild world of a human cub.
There is not much known about the boy. In his normal life, Neel Sethi is an ordinary Indian boy settled with his family in New York, USA. He goes to school.
When Neel Sethi’s daily routine drastically changed and he became engaged in the shooting The Jungle Book, his life also changed. The boy has been meeting many famous people – cinema stars whom he had seen before only on TV. Neel aslso started active social life. He has profiles on such social networking websites as Facebook and Twitter where he publishes photos with celebrities, promotes his first serious film work and just posts updates about his daily activities.
