Happy Holi to all Indian friends and everyone who is celebrating this joyful, bright and colorful festival!
For those who are not aware of this holiday, Holi is a festival of spring. The tradition of putting colourful powder and coloured water on each other on this day, has given the festival another name – Festival of Colours. Originally it was celebrated by Hindus but very soon all Indian people picked up the tradition.
Holi celebration starts on its eve with a Holika bonfire. People gather together: they dance and sing. Next morning the air is filled with powder colours and coloured water. Streets are crowded. People play with colours, putting them on each other. In this game all the differences disappear. Everyone is equal. Everyone enjoys the global craze in a best sense of this word.
Happy Holi, friends, once again. Let this day and colours put a bright new life before you, wiping away all the tears and troubles of the previous times. Celebrate the festival and stay positive!
