“If you cause stress to an animal that’s probably not a good thing. If you do it for laughs it makes me question your humanity,” said Jill Goldman, an animal behaviorist from California.
Except the sudden effect, another reason for being frightened by cucumbers with cats is that a cucumber can not be normally found on the floor. That’s why cats feel suspicious when they see the vegetable nearby. Moreover, the whiskered consider the feeding area the safest and the most private place in the house. And when something rudely breaks their privacy, cats try to leap out and escape from the dangerous object.
